Stephen Ingram has been building quality custom homes in the Rocky Mount area of North Carolina since 1997, when he established Ingram Construction Company.  Under the name Ingram Construction Company of Rocky Mount, LLC, the company maintains an Unlimited General Contracting license for building Residential and Commercial projects in the State of North Carolina.

 

Ingram Construction Company holds memberships in the National Association of Home Builders, the North Carolina Association of Home Builders, the Rocky Mount Area Home Builders Association, and the Rocky Mount Chamber of Commerce. Stephen is a past President of the Rocky Mount Area Home Builders Association, has served five years on the board of directors, and has held several other offices in the association. 

 

The company has established the Ingram Construction Company Endowed Chair for Engineering at Nash Community College. This marks the first ever departmental chair endowment which will provide funds to be used at the discretion of the chair, which provides education in the design and building industry along with the department's instructional and equipment needs.

 

As a custom home builder Stephen is always striving to be in the forefront of the latest technological advances in the industry. He regularly attends building shows and conferences across the country, continuing his education through the National Home Builders Association. Stephen has qualified as a Certified Green Professional™ by the NAHB, and was recently inducted into the NAHB Spike Club.

 

Stephen takes a hands-on approach to his work, maintaining a close relationship with his clients from start to finish. Working with a hands-on builder, which means dealing directly with Stephen rather than a job supervisor, helps eliminate potential issues before they arise, increasing quality inside and out. This process creates a mutual satisfaction between homeowner and builder in the construction of a quality home.
